The margin works like tax brackets. Each part of your monthly API cost has its own rate. Crossing a line never makes the earlier part cost more.
Easy maths. 1,000 credits is $10.
An estimate range and a hard cap. We stop before we pass the cap.
Set a per-run and a monthly limit. Above them, the run waits for your approval in the panel.
You don't pay for what failed. The credits come back automatically, at the band you are in that month.
As long as your membership is active, unused credits stay on your balance.

Months run on UTC. Each month starts again at the first band. The bands count your whole account: all your clients and your team together.

API usage is still billed as normal.
The fine print: each friend must be a new customer and pay with their own card. A payment that is refunded or charged back before the 14 days end does not count. The reward is paid once per account. Your link is in the panel under Referrals, or ask your agent for it.
Common questions
What does the $397 include?
Everything, for a full year: every live and beta tool, Link building, marketplace prices and owner contacts, the API, and your agent connection. Runs are paid separately in credits, which you buy in packs whenever you need them.
Which AI agents can I plug in?
Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI. Claude Pro and Max already include Claude Code; ChatGPT Plus and Pro already include Codex. One command installs stb, logs you in and teaches your agent the tools: see your first five minutes. Your agent signs in as you.
Can my agent spend credits without asking?
Only inside the limits you set. It sees the same estimate you do before every run. Anything over your per-run or monthly limit, and every planned link that costs real money, waits for your approval in the panel.
What does a run cost?
What the data costs us, plus your band's margin. The estimate shows the price before anything runs. Your agent asks you first above the limit you set.
Can a run cost more than the estimate?
It can land anywhere inside the range, and you set a hard cap before you run. If the run would pass the cap, it pauses and asks you.
What happens if a run fails?
You don't pay for what failed. The credits come back automatically, at the band you are in that month.
Is tax included?
Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
